JENNIFER KRAY - MY ANCHOR STAMP SET - 3D BOX

Jennifer kray - MY ANCHOR STAMP SET - 3D BOX

Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing a gorgeous 3D box with the My Anchor Stamp Set by Gina K Designs and the Tonic Studios Hexagon Box Lid Setand Insert Set

These awesome Gina K Designs stamps have been on my desk since before Christmas but have had to take some time out due to a few injuries. However, I'm back now and couldn't  wait to get started.

I've always found it a challenge to make masculine cards and papercrafts but as soon as I opened these stamps I knew a box would be perfect. The sentiment stamps are awesome as background
papers and the images are lush!
I started off by using Distress Oxides to make some background papers. Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain, and Black Soot.
And then cut out all the panels I intended to use to create my box.
Once completely dry, I stamped the truck image onto 6 panels which will go on the outside of the box.

Distress Oxides are amazing and give super texture, I can't get enough of them! Now stamp out one of the sentiments a bunch of times to make background papers.

This is so simple yet effective. Here I also added a black later from the Kaleidoscope Set- I've done this twice to make up the top and bottom layers for the lids.
The finish of a project is really important to me and I take a lot of care and detail when building my boxes.
And the inside of the lids....
I've only added the small panels to the right lid as the left one will be glued to the base.
You can also line your box with the same papers, Make sure you seal them as Oxides are water activated and you could transfer colour onto whatever you're putting into your box.
It's time to assemble all the pieces, like the top/bottom lids
Attaching all the panels
Adding a small tag
I then ensured everything was glued down properly. Although this is quite masculine, it's it a beautiful box?
And you can see all the details, like the position of the truck with the
Oxides and how lovely it looks with all the additional panels cut into the
Box and the stamped backgrounds.
I hope you've enjoyed this as an alternative to a card. All the men in my house love it and I hope you do too!

Doing something a bit different and entering this projects in challenges:
