Good morning, friends! It's a bit cooler here today in Cornwall, thank goodness. It's been such a hot summer so a breezy day is welcomed with open arms.
Today I'd love to share a card I made with the new Doilies from Tonic Studios.

Create 5 inch by 7 inch cardblank with your thick black card.
Die cut your Crocheted Doily twice with your Craft Perfect Jet Black Card.
With one of your die cuts, generously rub your clear embossing pad all over one die cut doily. Now add your Glitter Noir Embossing Powder and heat set. The black on black gives an absolutely stunning effect.
Adhere your second doily for a little added support. Set aside.
Cut a 4 inch by 6 inch panel with your 290gsm cardstock
Holding your panel, gently spray one side with your Silver Smoke Mica Mist. I add a little Mica Mist to a Tim Holtz Mini Mister as my results are much better. However! You MUST always pour back excess mist into your original bottle and thoroughly clean out your mini mister. This ensures you don't get any blockages.
Add a few additional splatters of Mica Mist to your panel.
Using the Mini Mister gives you a lot more control and if you clean it after each use, there is no danger of any blockages. It's the best solution I have come up with so far.
Die cut your heart with watercolour cardstock and colour with Flamingo Pink and Apple Red Aqua Flow Pens,
Die cut your hello sentiment with your thick 290gsm cardstock.
Spray your hello word with your silver Smoke Mica Mist
Assemble your card, making sure your sprayed panel is off centre and that you leave a gap at the bottom.
Add a few splatters of Silver to your card base (don't mist, rather dip in a paintbrush)
Add White Gloss Nuvo Drops to your card
Finish with a sentiment at the bottom of your card.
I tried so hard to get a great photo of this card but was let down every time.
The pictures really don't do it justice as it's so shimmery, glittery and beautiful. Cards don't always have to be white and I loved making it.
That's it from me today and I'm delighted that you've taken the time to stop by and have a look at my blog.
Lots of love and hugs
