A lot of you know my by now and so it won't surprise you that I've added a background made with stencils, texture paste and glitter markers. I started by adding some texture paste through the bevelled diamond stencil.
And then went in with Morning Moss and Iced Americano Glitter Markers to make the background.
Repeat adding colour several times until you acquire a nice rich blend. Add the same colours to a little tree. Originally I had drawn one but I can get carried away with doodling my own designs so instead I dug out this stamp by Paperartsy, which is perfect for my little man.
I stamped one of the leaves and thought it looked like a face!
Which is where the idea come from...I wanted to make a comic but that is not something you can prep for TV so I had to make do with creating a card. So many ideas from one single leaf...I just doodled around the leaf stamp with my Faber-Castell Artist Pen to create these super cute leafy characters!
And here is my little man. You can see that all I've used are the glitter markers. I find him so cute and fun! Can you see that lush background peeking out?
The overall size of the card is 5x7. I used part of the 'YOU ARE A LIMITED EDITION' stamp from the same stamp set - which is awesome! I inked up the edges with black shadow to make the top panel pop a little.
I couldn't stop there and decided to use my little lady as well. The colours blend really well which is how I managed to get her hair and dress.
Heat emboss the limited edition sentiment and 8 of the same leaves you used for her beautiful little head. Then add strawberry bonbon glitter marker to them and pop inside your mini photo frame! Use some gel medium to stick her on the front to ensure she is permanent. She is so sassy!
And that's a few of my little leaf people! They are definitely limited editions :D
Did you know I have a YouTube Channel? Mind you it's brand new and there is only 1 video so far, but you have to start somewhere, right? I'll be sharing another video later this week and I would love it if you wanted to subscribe!
I'll see you in a few days and until next time, lots of love and hugs.
