Guest Post - Paula Knall - Concealed Box Creation

When Owain invited me to do a Guest Post on the blog, I was a little nervous and decided I would wait until I had something really special to show you.

Today is that day! Seeing all the inspiration for the Tonic Craft Kits is so exciting, I always have aspirations of completing some of the projects and it never quite happens! I seem to have hit gold with the Trinket Box Die set from kit 8!

This is a set of trinket boxes with a sleeve that conceals them!

I had so much fun with this, it took nearly 2 days! I managed to use the flowers and leaves, from the die set in Kit 5 to make most of the decoration. The eagle eyed among you will notice a little Nuvo in there and I used the Romanesque Bracket corner die on each side. Those trellis panels from Kit 8 were just the perfect way to finish up the blank panels?

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my project, do share your makes on the Facebook page as we all love to see what everyone else makes.

Thanks for looking!

Paula xx

  1. This is a superb concealed box creation, Paula, and I’m not surprised it took nearly 2 days to create.

  2. Oh! Paula that's gorgeous and you had no need to have been nervous about displaying your work as a guest designer! I have always loved the combination of pink and grey! Are you on the DT now? Keep 'em coming because you should be! Well talent spotted Owain!

  3. I Love your version. I Still need to upload my stuff... life just keeps getting in the way. Instead of a Sleeve, it opens up from the square box, to a "straight/flat" panel of 8 drawers... shhh.. 😊😉
