Pink Cottage - Edna Taylor

Hi! Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I've gone all pink and white for my wee house with some rambling flowers round the door and peeking out of the chimney.
This little house is illuminated by a tealight inside held firmly in place in a little stand.

Tonic products used -
Tudor Town Toy Emporium
Foliage from the Shadow Box die set
Flowers from the Framed Screens Stripes and Crosses die set

I've used some plain vellum behind the rocking horse which also is included in the Toy set.

To make the tealight insert

Cut a piece of cardstock 3 1/2" x 3 15/16"
Score all the way round at 7/16" and cut up to the scoreline where the lines meet.
Die cut a circle from the centre of the piece that will fit your tealight
Either tuck the tabs in and glue them or remove them and keep the folded sections as is.
This will fit securely into the house and keep your tealight in place.
Keep the bottom of the house open and you can easily replace the tealight as necessary.

Thank you for joining me today.
Have fun when your dies arrive.
