Stamped Around the World BLOG HOP - Gilded Card Creation

Morning everyone, one of our wonderful blog contributors Maria Sabina has started a Stamped around the World Blog Hop and in support we're donating a Tonic Studios Nuvo prize bundle to the winner, here's a little about it from Maria....

"The aim of the ‘’Stamped Around the World’ Blog Hop" is to bring a smile and to make people feel a bit special by writing a few positive words. Not only that the card is handmade and gets to travel to so many countries and to so many people, but a part of you will travel too. It is important to put technology aside sometimes and go back to the old days when words were really appreciated by writing a letter or a note."

We love the idea so we're donating a Tonic Studios Nuvo prize bundle to the winner, and all you have to do to take part is leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win the bundle, with the winner to be announced on the Lollyrot Scrapbooking Blog here on May 27th :)

Here's a video of a Gilded Card we put together on Tonic Live using our Gilding Flakes and Stamps, we hope you enjoy :)

You can find more information on the blog hop here, but from us good luck and happy hopping :)

  4. i think this is such a fabulous idea and when I did Postcrossing I had so many happy mail and thus smiles on my face, which i'm sure my cards got as well, and these cards will too, no doubt. great initiative!

  5. Gilding Flakes is such a cool product with tons of great opportunities to use. I have an idea of how awesome would look an intricate frame covered with those flakes to get a bit distressed shabby look, or a distressed mirror, so possibilities are endless :)

  16. I didn't know about the gilding flakes---oh, how the ideas are popping in my head right now! I do love all of the tonic tools I have, but have not tried any of the "fun" stuff (drops, glues, mousse!). I started with Nina Marie and am ending the hop with your site. It has been fun and I have lots of ideas now! Thanks so much, and special thanks for supporting crafters.

  28. Lots of products and techniques to try using all the tonic products. Had not thought of using the flakes on acetate to show through a cut out. TFS the technique. And I need to add some drops to my stash too.
