Sparkle, lots of it! - Edna

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.
It's the Tonic Studios Weekender on Create and Craft. Lots of shows today to share great ideas and inspiration in using one of the most gorgeous products - Sparkle Dust!
It comes in twelve fabulous colours and is the finest glitter ever, so aptly named dust and a little goes a long way.

Tonic products used -
Bowscale layering dies for the card base
Framed Screens - Stripes
Basic Hearts
Mini Moments Sentiment
Gold Shine Sparkle Dust
Holywood Red Sparkle Dust

The card size is 7 x 7" square
The red background square had red liner strips applied and the glitter dust added to create a border.
The front panel was covered with double sided adhesive and the die cut panel applied.
This left the gaps open to add the glitter and I just used my finger tip to apply it. I was attempting an hombre effect but the glitter was very well behaved for the most part and stayed in the grooves. :)
I die cut the small hearts after applying double sided adhesive and then added the glitter dust.
The sentiment was glittered in two sections to add some interest.
The dots in the top corner are glue dots covered with the sparkle dust.

I loved the vibrancy of the red colour against the gold.
The dust does not feel gritty like glitter and is very economical to use.
A gorgeous product with loads of different uses.
Check out Tonic's FB page, Tonic Gold and Tonic's blog for more inspiration.

Thank you for joining me today.
