Pretoria Alphabet cards - a post from Edna

Good morning. I've two cards to share today using the beautiful Pretoria Alphabet from Tonic Studios.
I opted for single initials but you can do all sorts of lettering on your cards using these gorgeous dies.

In this first card I've used the letter C die cut as you see with the more ornate letter for the card and the 'waste' for the envelope seal. It's so wrong to think of the second set of letters as waste as they form a completely new alphabet on their own. If you cut it twice in different colours, textures etc you can insert the plain letter back into the ornate one to give yet another look.

I've teemed up the Floral frames and the I Miss You topper die sets for the front of the card. The background has been embossed with the Victoria folder, also from Tonic.
The envelope edge has been die cut with the Gallant Gate strip die and circle layering dies for the seal.

My second card uses the Delicate Drape Idyllics set for the embossing and focal panel of the card.
The top of the card front has been embossed at regular intervals to add interest.
The tails are from the Large Lacy Bows die set.

There is a lot more inspiration on the Tonic Gold site so make sure you join in and keep up with all the latest happenings in Tonic Towers. :)

Thank you for joining me today. Have a great day whatever your plans!

  1. Both these cards are so simple in their design but are both very elegant, it would be a delight to receive either of them (change of initial would be necessary of course lol!!)
    Thanks for sharing
