Cornflower Die earrings

I've been wanting to try cutting out shrink plastic with dies for a while now. I'm delighted to report that it worked beautifully!

Here I have used the Bouquet Boutique cornflower dies to cut my flowers out of black shrink plastic. I punched some holes for the jump rings to go through top and bottom of the larger flower and top of the smaller flower before shrinking. Finally, I hung them on some ear wires and stuck on some tiny jewels from my craft stash using superglue. They turned out pretty to look at and benefit from being lightweight and comfortable to wear.

  1. Fab idea. It's a great die although hard to find. Glad I managed to get one. The flowers are great made with them.
