I've been meaning to use these two adorable paper punches in the one project for a while now. I made this little butterfly girl, or fairy by using the cutout girl shape from this punch
Cut a strip of cardstock or decorative paper the size of the side of the clothes peg. Adhere with Tacky glue. Punch out two butterflies and stick together.
TONIC TIP - I spread a square of glue the size of the butterfly onto a scrap piece of paper and then lay one butterfly onto it and quickly lift it up and it picks up the glue it needs to stick it to the other butterfly- this gives the final piece strength.
Then stick the butterfly and the girl onto the peg. To give extra strength and bit of bling, I coated my peg with glitter Mod Podge and then added a few jewels.
To finish off, adhere a strip of self adhesive magnet to the back, or you could stick on three disc magnets. You now have a very handy place to stick reminders on the fridge.
It could also be used to close and decorate the top of a party favor bag.
(The little note is made with the Butterfly Circle Die )
