How to make "that" big flower!

Today's post is a quickie just to show you how I made the big flower on the card I made a few days ago.

1. Using the  Tonic Studios Multi Detail Heart punch punch, punch out 8 shapes. Then score each down the centre. I find my Tonic Studios Super Trimmer great for this.

2. Cut a circle and mark the centre  with a dot. Fold each of the hearts in half.

3. Using Tonic Studios Funky Glue (only one the right side of each heart) stick the hearts to the circle as shown above.

4. Add a Classic Daisy punched shape and a mini Daisy to the centre.

Before I go ..

Just thought I'd let you see the beacon which was lit in Belfast last night to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. It was on the Lagan Weir just beside the Queen's Bridge. You can just see the huge crane of  the Belfast Shipyard to the right of the photo.

It was such a beautiful evening I took another photo of the Lagan Weir showing the reflections on the lovely calm water. Belfast looked wonderful last night !

  2. Thanks for the heart flower instructions, found it via a comment on someone's blog.
Your photo's are beautiful, I love water and the Weir with the reflections is stunning. My theme for taking photo's this year is reflections but I don't have anything as good as this - must try harder. lol
