How to make your punched heart valentine card
Take an A5 card blank and use the Tonic Studios Heart Sider Punch to punch three hearts down the open side of the card.
Cut a strip of red card using a Tonic guillotine or craft knife, and glue it on to the inside back area of the card. Trim away a 5mm strip of the leading edge of the front of the card blank (where you have punched the hearts) so that you can see a small strip of red when the card is closed.
Cut some geometric shapes of card for the layered pattern on the front of the card, in the colours of your choice. Use heart and floral embellishments to decorate the layered card.
Use the Tonic Heart Sider to make some spare hearts from a scrap of pink paper, then use the Tonic Mini Traditional heart punch to punch out some smaller hearts from red paper. Glue the paper hearts near the punched out hearts to complete your card.
